Until we are Gone
Enlightenment is a Rocky Road,
Beset with many Pits and Holes,
Some times walking on Sand,
And at others stones.
Life is Hard;
Life is letting go
into the shadow of the unknown…
To be prepared for every turn in the road,
We must Practice Every day!!
To venture without hope
Because you must do it every step of the way.
Above the chimneys
Above the Skies,
All this wondering where freedom lies.
Truth be sure;
And ever Known;
Beyond the Bridge
and Down the Road.
The country lanes of our youth,
Done and dusted,
Wasted, abased,
And so, in truth.
into the Unknown,
Preparing for Eternity
All the while,…
Dreaming of Home!
